Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hanamori Labs, LLC ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the game Suho and the website suhogame.com (together, the "Services"). We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the game and its leaderboard.

If anything here is unclear, or you want a leaderboard entry removed, email support@suhogame.com.

1. The short version

2. What we collect

If you submit a score to the leaderboard, we receive and store:

Website & hosting. suhogame.com and the leaderboard run on Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare automatically processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure. We do not use this to build profiles of visitors.

If you buy Suho through a store such as Steam, the purchase, your account, and your payment are handled by that store under its own privacy policy - we never see your payment details. Any optional Steam features (such as achievements or cloud saves) are governed by Valve's privacy policy.

3. What we don't collect

4. Why we collect what we collect

5. The leaderboard is public

Display names and results submitted to the leaderboard are shown publicly to other players. That is the purpose of the feature. Only submit a name you are comfortable showing in public.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising. We share data only with the infrastructure provider that operates the Services on our behalf - principally Cloudflare (hosting, database, storage, security) - and, where you use a store version, the relevant platform (e.g. Valve / Steam). We may also disclose information if required by law.

7. Where your data lives

The leaderboard runs on Cloudflare's global network, with primary storage in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed there.

8. How long we keep data

Leaderboard entries (display name, results, and replay record) are retained while the leaderboard is active so rankings remain meaningful. Cloudflare security logs are short-lived. You may ask us to remove an entry at any time.

9. Your rights

Because we don't collect accounts or contact details, the simplest control is what you choose to submit. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data (for example under the GDPR or CCPA). To request removal of a leaderboard entry or to exercise any such right, email support@suhogame.com with enough detail (such as the display name and approximate date) for us to find the entry. We respond within 30 days.

10. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (United States) or under 16 (European Union), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect the limited data we hold, including transport encryption (HTTPS) and signed score submissions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
